Thank you so much!! You have saved me from major surgery. My doctor and the surgeon are surprised that I am not on any "conventional" medication and that all my symptoms have improved enough for me not to need surgery. However, by current main stream medical theory; "In some diseases, the body's defense system - the immune system - seems to trigger an Inflammatory response when there are no apparent foreign substances to fight off."

By this theory, these diseases are referred to as autoimmune diseases, where "the body's normally protective immune system seems to cause damage to its own tissues." "The immune system responds as if normal tissues are infected or somehow abnormal."

Analysis:

Is it possible that the tissue in question is indeed infected and in dire need of detoxification. Is it possible that the form of toxin, viral agent or invader which has made its way into the body and tissue in question, is undetectable by current medical means or simply overlooked? Is it possible that the immune system is not "misdirected" and is indeed reacting correctly to an invader which exists and must be dealt with?

Current main stream medicine is telling us, in no uncertain terms, that they do not have any idea what is causing the majority of these diseases which they have labeled "auto-immune." Yet they disclose that it could be possibly a viral agent or bacterium which has yet to be defined or detected. They also tell us that the immune system is so complex and sophisticated that the majority of its mode is currently beyond the comprehension of science (In large, they don’t understand how it works).

Is this not another way of stating that there indeed may well be an invader attacking the tissue that is not yet detectable? Is this not another way of stating that the immune system response in these "auto-immune" cases may indeed be correct? You bet it is.

What are the implications of chemically suppressing a correctly functioning immune system which is crying out for nutritional reinforcement rather than annihilation? What are the implications of introducing further chemical toxins (Immunosuppressants) into the tissue once the immune system has been terminated?

Now let us move to the other side of the isle:

Let us assume for the sake of argument, in the case of "auto-immune conditions" that the immune system - the body's defense system - is indeed, for whatever reason, malfunctioning and attacking normal tissue for no good reason.

If this were true, should not the focus of treatment be centered around restoring proper immune balance and function through support and analysis of support to this system which is presumed to be floundering and in all likelihood, overburdened? Or is the answer, which has been "standard policy" for the last four decades, to chemically shut down the body’s defense mechanism against disease, and "see what happens" short and long term? A better question would be why has this been standard policy?

I am writing this letter to let all know, who may be suffering from an auto immune disorder, or what the doctor’s after months of testing determined that I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Mononucleosis and high levels of Ebstein-Barr virus.
